Testing the WMV fixes in 2.1.2 (referenced in the changelog on MacUpdate, and in the above ticket). Still can't play certain WMV's, including the one submitted for testing and reference in the ticket.

Am I getting ahead of myself? Did those fixes not make it into verion 2.1.2?

Just to clarify: • Actual playback time on VLC >2.0.8: less than a second. • Actual playback time on 2.0.8: 1:08. On >2.0.8, if there are multiple files in the playlist, it's just skipped entirely. If it's the only thing in the list and repeat is on, VLC thrashes away, but seems to play a second or ...

I have a similar problem on 10.6.8, but VLC 2.1.1 did not resolve it. The files will not play on anything more recent than 2.0.8.

Is there anything I can do to help troubleshoot this issue?
