I stream videos with my debian server. My Question is, it's possible to change the position of the text or logo without break up the vlc server?

So I found the problem. On Debian squeezy is the version of VLC 1.1.3
I installed now Debian wheezy and the version here is 2.x

Try :http-user-agent

I tried now with :http-user-agent but got the same "xine/1-rc6 LibVLC/1.1.3" LibVLC/1.1.3 is always there

Hello, I'm trying to restream a video with vlc on my Debian dedicated server. The problem is VLC cannot connect to the server and I'm trying to bypass it with the the command --http-user-agent=xine/1-rc6 But if I check the access.log of the server, I can see the User-Agent is xine/1-rc6 LibVLC/1.1.3...

i want to add Text or Logo if i stream Video over the Network.

I tried it already with CTRL+E and select in the Tab "Video Effects - Overlay" Add text but this is only working when i watching Videofile or Videostreaming.

Can someone help me?
