In the main page of the settings, in the History section, do you have "Playback history" enabled ? Previously is disabled, we would still save media progress which isn't the case anymore.

Yes in the playback history it is enabled.Tested it.

Could you check More -> Settings -> Video -> "Resumed played videos" please ? Is it set to "Always" ?

Yes the video is set to always resumed.

I am using latest vlc 3.6.0 beta 2 version.The videos are not resuming in this version.It always start from starting.Vlc old version 3.5.7 is working perfectly.Please fix it.

Vlc is not updating library it is not showing new added files and it is showing deleted files.Please fix it.

Add an feature of video orientation where if the video is recorded in landscape mode it will show in landscape mode and if the video is recorded in portrait mode it will show in portrait mode.

Vlc currently shows files through title names.It will be good if you add an option to show all through file names

Add the feature to search subtitles manually where we can type movie name and search because many times vlc is not able to find subtitle.This feature is also present in mx player.

Add an option to select decoder like HW,HW+ and SW from video UI because to change decoder every time to change we have to go to preferences. Add an option to manually search subtitles like we can manually enter the name and search.

Please add a feature to remember audio sync for a particular video file.Every time I exit video it resets and I have to do it all over again.If i pause a video and lock screen the also it resets so it will be good if you add this feature.It is already available in mx player
