Sorry, I forgot! it's vlc 0.8.4a Janus on FC4.. not my server, the latest version I could have installed. Is this issue fixed in last build?

When I launch vlc with it's http interface, and then /vlm to manage my medias, if I click on a media to see it's settings, the browser says 404!

how could I fix this?

I solved the problem, thanks to trax on the irc vlc channel!
I don't use the loop option in my cfg file for vlm. you just have to pass --input-repeat option like this:
when it recieves the "play" control command, it loops indefinitely
