Re: keyboard controls missing

Hi, you should upgrade to the 3.0.x release ;) Do you have them in the hotkeys preferences? (ctrl+p => hotkeys) Thanks for the response. I don't know how to upgrade to 3.0 since I'm doing the upgrade thru the S/W manager product. It did upgrade it to a later 2.x version. But I installed a different...

keyboard controls missing

Am running VLC 2.2.2 Weatherwax on Mint. Installed it from the software manager app.

Am not seeing the keyboard controls [ and ] for fine speed adjustment.

Is there some option I'm not aware of to enable this?

Thanks so much.

play all songs

I am using 2.5.13 on a device running android 7. I have gone to Settings and set up the media folders that contain my songs. Currently if I choose Audio from the main menu (3 bars on top left), choose the Songs tab and then tap the 3 dots to the right of any song I see an option to play all songs. I...

Casting to TV

i use VLC media player on my tablet (iPad) and it works flawlessly. no complaints. I recently acquired a chromecast device and it would be absolutely brilliant if I can "cast" from VLC media player app on the iPad to my TV via Chromecast.
Any likelihood of this happening?

Thanks!

Re: Adjust Zoom using keyboard

sorry, it's me again- any thoughts? Using VLC media player on Win 7, 64Bit. I like to use the zoom feature accessed via Adjustments and Effects->Video Effects ->Geometry->Interactive zoom. One slight annoyance with this feature is that whenever I start up a video it defaults to a zoomed-in setting. ...

Re: "Videos Folder" in iPAD mini

Wow, it took only a month for me to respond- sorry about that!
Anyway I discovered that VLC is one of those apps that is recognized in iTunes. So when my iPad is attached to my PC I can go into the device tab of iTunes, choose the VLC app and then add the videos directly from my PC.
Thanks!

"Videos Folder" in iPAD mini

I have an iPAD mini running iOS7. I have "copied" a few .mp4's from my PC to the tablet using iTunes sync. They show up in a folder called "Videos" on the iPad. I can play them fine from w/in this folder using the iPad's native video player. I now installed VLC media player. But ...
