VLC doesn't play wma file, no sound . I've reset vlc cache, the same result . Do you have any idea why ?

I've been tried the latest version 0.9.0-20080123, the playlist displays non-ascii characters incorrectly.
It's nice if VLc allows user to select 1 of the system fonts for the playlist, also change text color and size as CloudStalker requested .

Does VLC ver 0.9.0 allow user to use an available system font for the playlist ?
If not, please add this feature in the future . The current font on the playlist didn't display non-ascii characters properly . (example: ă,á, ạ, â )

When sending the 'Add' or 'Marquee' cmd in RC interface with a non english filename (unicode) , The VLC doesn't work. The same filename work fine if it's added from the Playlist.

Have you ever planned to add audio pitch shift for VLC ? This is must feature for who use VLC as their Karaoke player.

Try to change audio track in the 'input/Codecs' selection in VLC Preferences.
From VLC screen, Settings ->Preferences..
From Preferences screen, Click input/Codecs . Make sure check 'advances options' chk box. Change Audio track to 1 or 2... save it. Close VLC & restart VLC

try changing the video output module back to DirectDraw in the preferences. Video screen works, also vtrack cmd. I don't have any file with 2 subtitles therefore, I couldn't check strack yet. Vlc 0.85 and latest build having problem when adding unicode filename from a playlist screen and from the RC interface. VLC hung up.
It works fine when adding a unicode filename from main menu (at least for me).

It seem to me the video problem only occurs on the ATI video cards
