I have a fresh install of Windows 8, 64-bit version. I downloaded the 64-bit version of VLC (from /pub/videolan/vlc/last/win64/). This studders and crashes within Windows 8. So I downloaded and tried the 32-bit version of VLC 2.1.0 and it plays everything fine. Has the 64-bit been tested in Windows ...
