When you connect it in itunes, go to your ipad on the left hand side, then apps at the top of the main window. Scroll all the way down till you find File Sharing. Unless you can configure the airport express to share the hDD via UPNP or FTP you cant.

Suggest you read up on UPNP and FTP as you will need to understand it if you want to use it.

I can confirm that this is fixed AND that I'll upload the fixed version to Apple tomorrow morning after final tests. :)

UPnP not working for me also using an XBMC renderer and Plex also.

Also having crashes when the FTP transfer is complete.

I use StartSSL for my certificates, you can get free SSL certs from them and they are now included in a lot of recent certificate authority packs.
