It s in the same tab as the screenshot I made in the first post, they have added the option on top of it, for some reason the option doesnt show up in the advanced setting view, you have to use the simple setting view to have the option show up.

Yes a language switch has been added in later update so this topic is obsolete now.

I have to change the language of the whole operating system just to get another language on vlc ui?
