A-B Looped greyed out

I can't get the AB loop to work. I'm on Mac 12.1 and the video is an MKV file. A to B Loop is greyed out, and the hotkeys don't work either. There is no "Advanced Controls" button that I can find. Repeat One and Repeat All both work fine even though they are also greyed out. Please advise ...

Re: [Extension] Time

Please provide instructions on how to use your extension. Specifically all these abbreviations: {E} / [D}[_][T]/-[R} etc. It took me a half an hour to figure it out.

Re: where is logging file located?

I have the same question. I followed some online instructions for setting up a txt file and using advanced settings, but it didn't work at all. And I couldn't find it in the faq.

Re: 64 bit version?

Thanks! That's a big improvement. Not perfect. A little stuttery and the video falls apart with fast playback, but at least it kind of plays. All praise be to the coders.

64 bit version?

I'm having trouble playing 4k video with the h.265 codec. Stuttery playback, grey pixellation. I was told to try the 64 bit version of VLC, but I don't see it on the downloads page. Is there really a 64-bit version? Was I given bad advice? I can playback using MPC-HC (64 bit) no problem, but I much ...

Re: HOW TO SYNCRONIZE SUBTITLES THAT KEEP SLIPPING

My subtitles keep slipping out of sync. They come increasingly early. However, I can't adjust the "Subtitles Speed" to less than 1.000 FPS. I tried entering 0.9, etc but it doesn't work. I can only make them go faster and more out of sync. How to slow the subtitles down?

Re: Opening Dvds takes ages with Vlc!

I have the same problem. I have fast hardware, and the bundled software has no trouble. Using VLC, trying to load takes forever. If I want to skip forward or backward the video freezes and, after a couple minutes, sends me back to the menu screen. Unusable.
