The only way i was able to solve the screen size problem was to install and older version of VLC, in my case I installed version 2.2.1

I am having difficulty watching flv's on VLC Media PLayer due to fact that the screen used to be larger than it is now, (not counting "Full Screen" selection. Am I not configuring something correctly. I thought at first it was the program so i uninstalled it and re-installed latest version...

How do I set VLC Media Player as default player for Windows XP Pro 2003. I have tried using Set Program Access and Defaults but it doesn't help any. When downloading movies it no longer shows the VLC symbol, but a Flv symbol.
