Anchorman 2 blu ray

Does this movie just not work on VLC player? I followed the instructions on http://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/ and when I try to play it, it just says Blu-Ray error: Your system AACS decoding library does not work. Missing keys? Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'bluray:///F:...

Re: Corrupted video file if VLC quits?

MPEG-TS.

Thank you for posting that. No one mentioned but I just noticed that there is a simple or all setting in preferences. I chose all but I still don't see where you can choose to use something other than mp4 for your default output. Is that possible to do?

Corrupted video file if VLC quits?

It seems if VLC.exe quits while recording a video stream it completely corrupts the .mp4 file. I've had it happen on multiple occasion so I have tried to simplify the questions I have. Is there a better format rather than mp4 that will still keep the file playable even if VLC quits unexpectantly and...

Convert/save...

I downloaded a program called Desktop Live streamer that will open up a stream in VLC player. When I go to the Convert/save... option there is no option to convert/save the current stream or video that is already playing, none that I see anyway but that would be a very nice option. Alternatively, in...

Re: Issues with recording streams

Use convert option in the UI. Transcode and mux are options of VLC. If gpac hates you, you're screwed, indeed. Except if they play in VLC. Just to clarify if you didn't catch what I'm trying to do, I'm not trying to stream to other people, I'm trying to capture a stream, so I don't know if transcod...

Re: Issues with recording streams

1. yes, change codec and mux 2. transcode and use ts mux 3. mp4box. Well first off thank you for replying. I now have questions about your answer :) Would I change the codec and mux in the input & codec preferences of VLC? If so what are the fields called and what should they be set to so that ...

Re: Issue with Recording stream with VLC

I didn't mention but I have Windows 7 64 bit pro. It finally crashed while I was watching it, I recorded over an hour of stream, stopped it and the video worked fine. I then started recording again and within 20 minutes it crashed and the small video had the same issue as the large ones.

Issue with Recording stream with VLC

I have successfully recorded a stream from twitch.tv with VLC but one of the players I watch is on late at night. I started his stream, started recording it and when I got up in the morning the VLC player had quit and the relatively large mp4 file seems to be corrupted. I tried it again for when I l...
