I am having the same Issue with MP4 and MKV with no audio. Makes me sad. Perhaps I had too high expectations. I was really hyped up about it last night! too bad, hopefully the issues will get resolved, The reason I picked VLC is so I don't have to convert my files to MP4 for my Iphone 5
