Nothing could solve it.

Decided to remove VLC instead.

I can not do anything with ge phone when I watch something and I get a call. 100% frozen phone.

I have reinstalled the app and now its somewhere in between´. the call goes through but it starts of as I mentioned before... the show/movie Im watching freezes on the display and I hear that someone calls but no visual of who or the answer reject buttons. then 2-3 seconds later... vlc goes into the...

It's not for me. It's to prevent others on the same network to access stuff they shouldn't have access to

True, that happens but I don't want VLC to find anything when that tab is pressed.
In another words an option to be able to choose wether I want local network to find anything or not. Like a login window.
