Quirks and a bug in Bookmarks support

Support for Bookmarks is somewhat limited in VLC (e.g., there's apparently no way to sort the Bookmarks into chronological order), so I wrote a simple app to process an XSPF file. Whilst doing this, I've discovered a (1) quirk and (2) a bug in VLC bookmark support. (1) The quirk is that if I open a ...

Re: Subsecond seeking with remote control

Bumping this thread. I would also like to do this. Bookmarks in VLC can represent sub-second positions (e.g. 00:02: 01.011 ), so it seems like seek should be able to handle this as well. If this were possible, VLC bookmarks could be implemented via other interfaces. As it stands now, though, the gra...

Green Line on right edge of converted file

I have an MKV file pulled from a DVD using Handbrake, and when I take screenshots, there are several pixels of bright green on the right-hand edge of the image. I use screenshots a lot for my work, and need to get rid of these green lines. I can't justify manually cropping every screenshot from here...

Re: Odd bookmark / playlist issue

Wow, bookmarks are STILL broken in Rincewind !? While playing a DVD, I set a bookmark at 01:24:00. The Bookmarks UI doesn't let me edit the name of the bookmark, so I click Edit . When I give the bookmark a name and click OK , the time morphs to 00:13:17. No matter what I try, the time stamp is hose...

Re: Bookmarks only up to certain time

The last post is in the wrong forum. Anyway, has there been any progress at all on fixing the broken bookmarks feature? I am in the same position as some of the other posters. I need this functionality for giving presentations and it's literally a show stopper that it doesn't work. I like VLC, but w...
