Thanks, i opened file but dont see it, is it under something in the file?

Ok i have always used vlc, so i updated to new version. now when i am using any other program and typing the player keeps starting and covering my screen. i have uninstalled 5 times and still are getting this. any ideas???

OK i installed the new player. now when ever i am using a different program the player starts up. i had to uninstall the stop it. any ideas, i really like the play.
