Does this mean it is normal that 2.6.6 Umbrella does not play this .asx, but that the next version is going to solve this problem? Did you also test it in the current version?

The latest version of VLC Mediaplayer (64-bits) that I know is 2.2.6 Umbrella. When I try to open this stream, it does not work.

Take this one, for example (Radio Maroc): http://www.moroccanvoice.com/radio/listen.asx.

Plays in Windows Media Player (and Radio?Sure!), but not in VLC.

This problem is still not solved: VLC plays every extension, but not '.asx'.

The suggestion above does not help. (Of course).
