Is it only me that see the point in such a feature? No, you are not alone. I use it alot, have media player like wdtv live anf bubbleupnp on tablet. Simple streaming of photo or video from my smartphone to this devices works awesome, as win7 feature "play to". But when trying search somet...

As i remember, also more than 2,1Gb avi divx/xvid files can't be played via upnp or http links.

Yes, not locally, but i don't understand what is the differences for network playing of http links different sizes?
Problem with it starts only when filesize more than 2,1 gb. Little bit less and all goes fine.
Is it some counters problem?

This might be the issue.

Problem can be reproduced on all video avi file size more than 2,1gb.

So is it any hope for fix?
As i see, this bug untouched almost nine month.

Also don't know do i need post it as bug or not, but vlc doesn't show normally progress bar and video length in it's right part.

Hi. Tested on vlc 2.0.6 and 2.0.7 on windows 7. I have minidlna server, few videofiles in few sizes (xvid video, ac3 sound): 745mb, 1,4 gb, 2,1 gb. Android devices (bubbleupnp and mx player), hardware players (wdtv live), windows media player can play all sizes of video file. But VLC can play any of...
