Well, there is one thing more, I have detected.

If you click somewhere onto the time line, I see some artifacts in the video. After a time it is nomalized.

Really? If I associate a file with it, I only see the standard vlc icon.
Do I have to enable an extra option to use the icons?

First: I have detected, that VLC has some problems to play back movies/audios clean und completely. If you have a very short one, it could really be, that you see/hear nothing of the file. I think that individual icons for every (or the most used) file types would be great.

The icons should contain the vlc-logo and the letters of the file extensions.
