Workaround is to revert to 2.0.5 (see viewtopic.php?f=14&t=111080). Let's hope for a full fix soon.

VLC 2.0.6 error with MPEG 4 (AAC) Audio

Hi I have been converting AVI files (generated with VideoPad) to MP4 using VLC but since the update to 2.0.6 I get an error: "VLC could not open the encoder". This happens when I use Audio codec MPEG 4 Audio (AAC) . I reinstalled 2.0.5 and it was OK, updated to 2.0.6 and the error returned...
