I actually just noticed something, the fast forward button does work in 0.9.9a, however, it only seems to be working for my avi files. However, for my MKV files it seems to be having this fast forwarding issue.

I just did, it seems to be working properly on some files, but none of my MKV files seem to open (they crash immediately). So I guess it's nice to know that it'll work properly when 1.0.0 comes out.

For some reason I can't seem to keep my sound volume at 100%. When I open VLC, the volume bar is set to 100% but the second I double click on a movie or open it though the open command, it jumps down to 12%. Is there anyway to change the default sound setting back to 100%?

Well, I was hoping that it would be the same as the rest of the ones you have (but with the letters MKV on it) I really don't know how to make one, otherwise I'd do it myself. Plus, I don't actually have the icon template to work with either.

Hey there, I was looking through some videos on my Mac and I noticed how AVIs, MPEGs, etc. all have their own icon (with whichever type of file they are in the icon) but MKVs don't. I was wondering if you can add an MKV icon instead of it just being "Blank"

yeah, but I'm running a 2.33Ghz Intel Core2 Duo and I have the same problem as well (on a similar video as well). It's an HD(720p) video, encoded in H.264 with AC3(5.1) audio. I get it working for the first 5 seconds and then it spazes.

I'm using the latest version on Ubuntu.
