...the one that comes with the last official release of Videolan in the .exe installation file (version is 0.85 still)

...don't think so...why then on my 2 other pc's with WinXP SP2 (no Mediacenter) same updated os the thing is going like a charm ?
What does exactly the VLC plugin need to work ? DirectX (I suppose), Java and other drivers too ? Maybe in the Mediacenter something is missing ?

hello, I'm testing this Acer Aspire Idea500 with a Dreambox 7020 and trying to use VLC...now I try the Web-x-tv on the DBox web-interface, and I get an "visualization error"...but if I use the streaming directly from the VLC proggy, I get regular images from the box...so I guess it's the A...
