Re: Political parties/organizations might be ripping off VLC's logo

True-ish *shrug*...it's the likeness more than anything. Looks virtually identical to a version of VLC's logo. I just assumed VLC had the rights to "their" version of a cone and didn't just use a random freebie graphic somewhere. I've seen many images of traffic cones over the years, but w...

Political parties/organizations might be ripping off VLC's logo

It would appear that a political party/organization that is local to Las Vegas is ripping off VLC's copyrighted logo content. Example: https://www.instagram.com/p/DAt3rcCTgky/?igsh=YnB3ejRmYjV1cHJs They have been posting images all over various social media platforms, but also posting large signs al...

Ya, it was doing it even when I downgraded to 2.2.4. I did a fresh install deleting all preferences and it worked. *shrug*

Re: No Audio w/ mp4a

I am resurecting this only because it's the first thing that comes up on Google...so best to have an up-to-date strategy. For those having issues with AAC audio (or "MP4a" audio streams within videos)... Go to Tools -> Preferences -> (show all) -> Audio/Codex -> Scroll down to "Prefer...

Re: How to compile VLC with AAC support?

Also, go to Pref -> (show all) -> Audio/Codex -> Scroll down to "Preferred decoders list" and make sure "quicktime" isn't listed. If so...get rid of it. That's one of the biggest problems with VLC and AAC (or MP4a audio streams in video files).
