Hi. Did you ever find out anything on this? I'm using VLC on a Macbook Pro and outputing via HDMI to a receiver. However, I don't have a subwoofer hooked up and am trying to figure out how to have VLC route the LFE channel to the front channels.

Hi all. I've been using VLC on Win and Mac for years (and soon iPad!!!), but I've never done anything other than use it as a video player. I have some .m4v files that have out of sync audio and video. I looked at some of the help for the command line (I know F and G in the GUI) and have this working...

You can't chose multimedia keys yet. I might try adding that next week.
