I hope this bug will be fixed. It's a serious issue.

After installing VLC i go to the settings and added folder with video files on my external card. The video files were added successfully and played without issue, but every time i close and open VLC it seems to loose these settings and i have to go to the settings and add the folder with video files...

I have couple of playlists, organized in folders, in my media library on vlc install on my Windows 7 partition. I want to transfer these playlists to the vlc install on my Linux Mint partition. How to do that?

I think keyboard shortcut to focus the search bar, in playlist mode, will be very useful.

Can i assign keyboard shortcut to focus the search bar? And since ctrl+f is already taken, can i assign ctrl+shift+f?

Is it possible to show the system time in full screen only when i move the mouse? So, when i want to see the control toolbar to see the system time also, maybe in the top right corner?

There is no .zip file for the new release. I had to install the .exe file, create 'portable' folder and then copy the installation directory. It will be good if there is a .zip file for the portable version.

I tested the streams on the night build and it works on it, but on the main VLC it doesn't.
By the way, isn't the version 4.0.0 the latest night build version?

VLC player doesn't play live streams from youtube. The others, not live stream videos, it plays fine but live it doesn't. Why?

Can you start VLC Player in portable mode with a switch? Something like the -p switch to start Kodi in portable mode.
