Hello, I know XVID and DIVX are two seperate things. That's why I mentioned this. I forgot to say that I'm running SUSE 10.1 so I don't have a task manager. I wouldn't know how to view utilisation. I don't think that's the problem though, since mplayer is able to play the files fine on the same mach...
