downgrade to an earlier version of quicktime. just run a search on these forums and there should be a thread all about it.

it's worth it becuase vlc plays a lot more different media types than quicktime. it also has a better user interface and there is a playlist type controller panel thingy.

looks like quicktime is trying to sabotaged the vlc project. jealous bastards.
