You can't. Only VLC 2.1.0 and later support WASAPI.
I really don't understand...

1) where I can get 2.1.0 and later version of VLC?

2) why to me the last is 2.0.8?

3) exist a 64bit version of 2.1.0 version?

I really need wasapi on my vlc because I watch to concerts movies mostly.

Sorry if I re-open this topic but I wonder how in VLC 2.0.8 64-bit with Windows 8, I can use WASABI as AUDIO OUTPUT.

I use it with Foobar2000 and I'd like to use it in VLC too.

Stuttering problem with 23fps movies with 60hz TV displays

Hi, With 60fps movies no problem, but with the most common movies' fps (that are usually 23), I have serious problems with my 60hz display. In other words, when the scene of the movie is moving (scrolling) the video is stuttering. I think it's a common problem and I think it needs a particular video...

Voice enhancer filter

Hi,

really often I handle videos which the ambient sound are high and the dialogues (voices) of the Actors are really low (so I have to increase and decrease volume during the movie!).

I am looking for an "voice enhancer" audio filter that helps me with that.

Hi, I am using Windows 8 Pro 64 bit with VLC 2.0.5 (vlc-2.0.6-win64). If I go to SETTINGS -> Interface -> Set associations Everything is ok with AUDIO and VIDEO associations but if I try to associate PLAYLIST association i.e. XSPF or VLC that DOES NOT WORK. Even from the Explorer, I cannot associate...

Hi,

I'm using Windows 8 Pro 64 bit with vlc-2.0.6-win64.

In the control panel -> default programs -> set default programs

VLC is MISSING... simply is not there.

Why that happen?
