Re: Playing .ts files over wifi

Finally colleague of mine find solution for problem above. In order to perform smooth playback over Wi-Fi VLC needs to be started with following option: --file-caching = 0 It may be done also through Preferences->All->Input/Codecs->File Caching (ms) By default it is 300ms. Re: Playing .ts files over wifi

Thanks for fast reply. I just tried 1 Mbits/s file and results are exactly the same. In addition, it does not explain why 5 Mbits/s ".mp4" file is played in VLC fine over the same network. And why exactly the same 5 Mbits/s ".ts" file is played fine in Windows Media Player and Go...

More precisely, under ...

Re: Capturing from Blacmagic UltraStudio SDI (UPDATED)

For beginning, try with "live-caching=3000". Hope it will help.
One more thing: you mentioned that you are capturing 59.94i signal. However fps parameter you use is for 25 fps.

Play while capturing Blackmagic WDM Capture

What I am trying to do: 1. Use one instance of "VLC 2.05 Twoflower" to capture video through BlackMagic WDM Capture device, converting in h.264 and save to ".ps" file. 2. Use another instance of "VLC 2.05 Twoflower" in order to browse through the same ".ps" fi...
