I don't see how this could hurt in the way i intend to use it, but I imagine they have other reasons for scrobbling to work that way.


Short of this, is there some other way that I can capture my song information and put it in to my livestream as a text box? I use OBS to stream.

I am looking for a way to change the scrobbling feature to submit the data to last.fm at the start of the song rather than at the end. I use a small program to pull my last.fm scrobble info in to my stream to insert song information there, and having the song update when it finishes is rather confus...
