i was using vlc 0.8.5 and the latest contrib...

it ran just once... just once... and now it is opening up with rc interface again... in between what i did was compiled my changed vlc program...:( any guess? of this really weird problem... oh and before it ran i fomated c: drive. does it has something to do with registry or something... i am reall...

ok finally i succeded in compiling again and successfully this time... i was leaving some of the optional packages in trax's guide. they are 1) 20041228-3 gdb (optional: for debugging purposes) 2) 0.98.39-1 nasm (optional: for compiling x264 encoder) 3) 0.2.31-1 patchutils (optional: for patching so...

couldn't said that better... that's exactly what i have tried... and i am out of ideas too. but i don't have the option of writing my own ffmpeg wrapper... (still a newbie)... so still hoping for some solution... anybody? please...

no error... but there is no wxwidget in the vlc-help.txt

seems like it didn't build

currently running compilation with another contrib package... as soon as it fails i'll try this command...

i was able to compile successfully just a few days back. in between my system crashed and i compiled again. it compiled successfully but while i start it, it shows no gui. i have also tried it with older vlc -sourcecode and older contrib and older gcc... with diffrent configurations with no gain..:(...
