Thx for answer.

Can you give me example output line with a mux for RAW ?

Re: Live Streaming under MAC OS

VLC can already do live streaming. For capturing, it does already support qtcapture devices like your webcam. But I would not be surprised if blackmagic devices are not supported. I tried with various types of Capture Devices of different manufacturer but no card / usb 2.0 / 3.0 hd capture devices ...

Re: Streaming video cuts off after a few seconds.

I'm pretty sure I'm using version 2.2.1. I think that's the latest. I just downloaded in on Monday.
Download this here 2.1.5 and install :

Re: VLC compatibility with AverMedia LGP LITE GL310‏

First install the Avermedia STREAMENGINE (allows capture pin to Directshow). And then start the 32-Bit Version of VLC and you can choose the Streamengine Dshow Device (Video and Audio). But it is very buggy with very high CPU Usage and the Audio has hickups! Best way is to use nginx rtmp server and...

Live Streaming under MAC OS

Hi,

as i can see there is no possibility for Livestreaming under MAC OS X at moment.

Will the next VLC Releases support Capture Devices ??

I can see my microphone for capture, but no Video Device (Blackmagic).

Hope there will come something :)

Re: v2.2.0 video freezing from usb capture device

Yes you are absolutely right, but i posted this bug many weeks/months ago. The only answer i got "someone must code a patch for it" I'm not a coder and cannot do it. OK you don't want to help me but why do you let all other VLC Users in the World with Capture Devices suffer from this bug ?...

Example Line:

"vlc.exe" dshow:// :dshow-vdev="Decklink Video Capture" :dshow-adev="Decklink Audio Capture" :live-caching=3333 :dshow-size=1280x720 :dshow-aspect-ratio=16:9 :dshow-fps=50

Most important you define the dshow-fps setting to get picture!

Re: v2.2.0 video freezing from usb capture device

Have the same issue, lowering the caching (under 'show more options') from 300ms to 80ms for example solved the problem for me. it's low so it fails from time to time but it's better than nothing and may help debugging as well. I tried with Live-Caching to 0ms and the Stream was displayed for about...
