I've noticed while playing audio files on VLC, they often stutter while I'm browing the internet. It's like it's downloading a music file and me browing the internet or perhaps downloading a file bothers VLC while playing the music file and occasional stuttering occurs. Can I get rid of that somehow?

I've brightened a video and changed the saturation so the video is in greyscale. Now I want to export that video to a new video file with those applied effects.
