I have the same problem...
i do assign a single channel to view in to my string:

vlc -vvv /root/channels.conf XXXXXXX --sout '#transcode{vcodec=DIV3,vb=1024,scale=1,acodec=mp3,ab=192,channels=2}:std{access=mmsh,mux=asfh,dst=:8080}}' --ttl 12

Hi, i use VLS for dvb-sat channel streaming, but the bandwith when 10-15 pc are connected is very low....the vlc player is ok at address udp://@239.192.254.1:5001 I have used VLC for transcoding on the same server (DEBIAN SARGE) with the next string: vlc -vvv udp:@239.192.254.1:5001 --sout '#transco...
