Using VLC 2.05 and also had same issue on 2.04. Operating system is windows 7 and both it and IE are fully up to date with all microsoft releases.

Audio has begun to break up on all my video files. They run fine in Windows Media player and GOM but every few words the sound has a skip in VLC. Can you suggest a reason. Like VLC and dont want to have to change to another media player.
