The only time I get art is with some mp3's. I delete them with https://www.mp3tag.de/en/download.html

VLC latest version, I just got update now. The option to continue playback where you stopped a video won't work. It is set to ask. I tried setting it to always but that doesn't work either..It didn't work before the update either

VLC converts an mkv file for me to mp4 without chaning anythin as above and it has sound. No sound converting with handbrake or a****soft video converter

Say there are 10 tracks, it seems you have to start with the starting position at one but that only rips track one for me

Convert the avi to mp4? If you only need to play it to record a clip? If you do then make a copy of the avi first and convert the copy in case something goes wrong

when a video is recorded in vlc it saves as a vlcrecord. when played back in vlc it shows the name of file at bottom of screen. can this be turned off
