Well, a heads up. I found a work around, I think. I was able to open the file using the below method. Right click, open with > Firefox. When the popup to save/use VLC came up I chose save, and resaved the file to a new location (in this instance from my D drive to my desktop). Newly created file on ...

Is there any reason VLC would not recognize this file now? It has opened it before without issue.
