I too have found that this bug goes back several versions in both 32 & 64bit Win7. Now I just have to find out how to submit a bug report and take a short snipet of one of several movies I'm having problems with, and see if I can get a bug ticket going on this issue.

I'm having the exact same problems. Also running Win7 64bit. Any solutions?

Cool, got it. Thanks as well for the wiki link, that helped a lot. I can see where this would be very helpful for developing apps for mobile devices where speed and size are important.

Just realized that I have to go into the right click menu while the video is playing to get to Fullscreen mode. Might be nice to have a button on the control bar that allows you to click it go to full screen and back. Just a thought.

Yep, that's the thread I read, which led me to the bug report to quoted. Thanks for the info though, It's not a big problem for me. I just like the fact that I can use VLC instead of the bloated, sell-you-something, ad crammed, pre-installed junk that passes for media players. VLC still rules!

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if it was a bug or not. Also found that VLC won't play midi files, but I read in another post it that it's not designed to at this time. Neither of the two pre-installed media players do either on this phone, which is kinda funny considering I can use midi files...

Hello all, Kind of stumbling in the dark here. I found a build that seems to work on my Motorola Atrix HD, (MB886), ICS 4.0.4, but I'm not exactly sure if that this is the right build for my device. OK, ran the whole suite of VLC test files from this link,

and the only file that would not run properly is the "Recital_24bit.flac" file.
