motion detection from VDR output

I have a set of Swan cameras recording video from around the premises on a schedule. The recording goes to a VDR attached to the other end of their cables, etc. The VDR records onto a built-in hard drive, but I can also dub the recorded data to a DVD-Ram if need be. Actually, however, if I want to t...

Firefox plugin misnamed

Why does the Firefox plugin of the latest version of VLC's XPI, which is labeled here as "2.08.xpi", actually show up as version 2.06 after installing in the latest version of Firefox?

Re: Windows version confusion

I will have to tell my wife to cut back on the medication because it has a hallucinogenic effect on me. So sorry for the inconvenience. I have fixed the problem now. Thank you for the exceptional courtesy and patience, Jean-Baptiste.

Re: Windows version confusion

I hate having my hand held, but I have to ask once more. Where should I find the key for the following signature since it seems to be a different one? :)

Re: Windows version confusion

That was the ticket, sure enough! I owe you big time now, huh? :)

I have never understood why the various sites I visit always stuff the keys away in inconspicuous spots instead of making them obvious. They are rarely ever where they should be. C'est la vie. Thanks again, Jean-Baptiste.

Re: Windows version confusion

Hello, Jean-Baptiste. Thanks for fixing this little problem. Now, where can I find the signing key file for that version in order to verify this file's signature? I did not see it listed in the directory with the other files too: http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/last/win64/vlc-2.0.6-win...

Windows version confusion

It is not perfectly clear which version number is the most recent for Windows 64-bit. I am led to believe that 2.0.6 is X64 when I look here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/vlc/files/2.0.6/win64/ However, it looks like 2.0.5 is the most current X64 version for Windows when I look here: http://downl...

faulty snapshot format from video stream

Hi. I recently installed VLC on a 64-bit Win 7 OS, and it is the 64-bit version 2.0.4 Twoflower, downloaded from here. According to its "Help/About" window it was made with this compiler: gcc version 4.6.3 (GCC), and I apparently have the Qt4 interface. I decided to download it after a lab...

VLC 64-bit plugin for Firefox on Windows

I have a question about the Firefox plugin. I am not 100% certain that it is for Windows only, but I will give it a try and find out. I have 64-bit Windows 7, and I am using a 64-bit Firefox variant called "Pale Moon". I just installed the 64-bit version of VLC, specifically this one: &quo...
