Sorry for taking so long, I've uploaded the video to the VLC upload link.

Re: Audio is faster than video.

If DGSplit can't open the file, won't I be unable to split it? Or do you mean to zip the actual video file itself?

Re: Audio is faster than video.

I've uploaded the log (RME133LOG.rar) to the videolan upload link you've given me, but the video file can't be read by DGsplit, so I can't even cut it.

Audio is faster than video.

The title pretty much sums it up. Only for a select few video files (.avi). I'm not sure what other information is necessary to resolve this issue. Any ideas? I don't tamper with the settings much, just a few to reduce audio stutter and lag.

Re: Cannot play any more *.avi videos with AVC codec

I have a similar issue with .avi videos, though they're not movies. But it's been a consistent problem with all the .avi files I've tried playing through VLC. I updated to VLC 2.0.5 and so far, the videos are running smoothly. Though I cannot guarantee it's a permanent fix.

Video distorted and audio stutter.

I've been using VLC for a relatively short period of time and recently the video files I've been watching do not play smoothly. There is stuttering in the audio and when that happens the video becomes pixelated and the colours kind of warp around (random splotches of blue, green, white and grey). I ...

Re: Difficulties to play MKV file ?

I have the same issue and have read about downgrading to older versions though some people have said that this isn't necessarily a permanent fix to the issue as the problem may be with the video files. I have this with MP4 files as well.

Re: Playing traditional Chinese subtitles.

What font would you recommend? And should I leave the encoding at default or use a certain one?

Playing traditional Chinese subtitles.

There are both traditional and simplified Chinese subtitles included in the .mkv video file I would like to watch, but VLC cannot display them correctly, coming out simply as boxes. I've tried changing to the available encodings but none of them seem to work. Any solutions or ideas? Thanks.
