Yes, I provided the error & everything that's happening in my first post. It continues to play for I don't know, an hour or two & then when I get up after sleeping the full night, it's off & there's tons of popups on my screen. I can't even get to the VLC window b/c the popups are preven...

And now when I go to close it, the VLC window isn't even up, so the only way to close it is to click on those popups & then the VLC crashes on its own.

Never got a notice that someone responded.

I find it hard to believe that watching videos doesn't affect the computer in some way that something has to be cleaned/run often so the computer doesn't start to cause problems.
