If I force hardware decoding all I get is a black screen, but if I set it back to automatic it works fine (I assume this means it's using software decoding). That might work also, provided I could easily switch between the playlist and the EQ. Tabs just seemed like the natural thing for this. Then again, a mini-EQ docked below the playlist could be good as well
