Yes please, this would be great if it could be brought back. I hadn't realized midi support was removed (because fluidsynth is broken?? But it was working fine in the previous versions... >_>) I'd hate to have to switch to another player just for midi support. VLC was my all-in-one for a long time. ...

Yeah. It'd be great for it to make a bit of "progress" back to playing nice with game music emu formats. Was it just an oversight that caused that functionality to be dropped?

In any case, thanks for looking at my suggestion. I love VLC.
