In my case it isn't working..
I downloaded the file, went to the directory 'playlist', renamed the file into youtube-luac.old (which makes it a .old-file..) and put the new file .lua-file in it.

I removed the other file, but still it isn't working when I start VLC again.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to play a youtube-movie in VLC, but it isn't working.
When I paste the url in VLC and want to play it, it says:

Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg64x'. Check the log for details.

How can I solve this problem?
