Re: VLC 2.0.3 Twoflower: Audio is choppy when watching Analo

Hi Rémi,
Nice to know that. Thanks for replying.
Do you recommend a specific git branch/tag for 2.1 from http://git.videolan.org?
AFAIK, there is no official release for VLC 2.1. It would be helpful to get some (as much as possible) stable version for building.

Regards,
Martinez

Re: VLC 2.0.3 Twoflower: Audio is choppy when watching Analo

It seems that there is no easy solution for this issue. Perhaps I should consider a downgrade to previuos VLC versions. Does anyone know whether there is an issue reported to the official bug tracker concerning choppy audio? https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/query?status=assigned&status=closed&s...

Re: VLC 2.0.3 Twoflower: Audio is choppy when watching Analo

On Linux:

By compiling VLC 1.1.13 source code, Audio works perfectly for analog TV.
By compiling VLC 2.0.3 source code, Audio remains choppy.

Is there a reason for this issue in newer VLC version?

Same behavior, even increasing caching to 1000/2000 ms. Please find below the messages considering VLC 1.1.11 The Luggage. Also tried to change Audio output module (DirectX audio output and Win32 waveOut extension output). VLC command: vlc dshow:// :dshow-vdev="<MyTVCardVideoDevName>" :dsh...

Re: VLC 2.0.3 Twoflower: Audio is choppy when watching Analo

Hello, Thanks for your tips but none of those worked for me. Before posting, I had tried some changes, such as time stretching, caching, SRC samples etc. I haven't changed FFMPEG threads. Anyway, please find below the results for each test you mention. I've been starting VLC with the following line ...

VLC 2.0.3 Twoflower: Audio is choppy when watching Analog TV

Hi All, Video is OK, but Audio is choppy when watching Analog TV with VLC on Windows 7 x64, even trying to change Audio Ouput Module to DirectX/Win32 Waveout ( http://wiki.videolan.org/WindowsFAQ-2.0.x#Crackles.2C_pops.2C_hizzes_and_other_audio_anomalies ). I saw another topics related to this issue...
