Yup, understand. I would have thought one approach is that once it's good enough to make your main download package, rather than a "beta", it's also good enough to offer as update within existing package. I do appreciate the massive effort that goes into this, as a free piece of software, ...

ah ok, v3 is quite new is it. yet it's the main option on your website, so all new users would get a potentially unstable version.

From what I've seen it does BR menus, which is nice, used to have to pay for a separate application!

Latest Version of VLC

I have VLC 2.2.6 and when I click "check for updates" it says I have the latest version, however I see the version 3 is available. What's the story with that?

Ahhhh I see, thanks. Selecting that mode means nothing plays at all, just get blank screens.

It looks like VLC always opens in the same window as it was last open in, so using the -f option to put fullscreen should be enough.

Thanks, I can see the list of devices there, however putting that in the command line option makes no difference...

I have followed the instructions above to the letter. 64 bit installed downloaded the two files i get the following message: Blu-Ray error: This Blu-Ray Disc needs a library for BD+ decoding, and your system does not have it. Your input can't be opened: VLC is unable to open the MRL 'bluray:///H:/'....
