Got to thinking about random/shuffle play

My music player spends its life on random play so the subject is quite important to my listening pleasure. When hard disk players first came out I bought the Sony Walkman and after some time I found that it played many of the same tracks again. After contacting Sony and getting no joy I decided to t...

Re: Is ripping video from disk illegal?

That really and entirely depends on the laws in your country. Where are you located? I’m in the UK so there should be no problem as bankers and government ministers are allowed to steal millions. That said the way things are these days ripping your own disk is probably a big no no whereas lying and...

Re: Is ripping video from disk illegal?

Thanks, I can understand it being illegal if you are uploading them, selling or passing them around but surely I should be able to rip my own disks so I can view them as I want. To do it was a major problem as many programs can rip a disk but they can’t separate the tracks into individual files. I d...

Is ripping video from disk illegal?

I have about 40 music dvd’s which I purchased, what I wanted to do was rip them to disk and then I could have a 400+ track random playlist. I did manage to do it but I kind of got the feeling it wasn’t legal even though I had bought the disks, so naturally I had to download a program which wasn’t qu...

Re: Does utube need realplayer

sounds to me your system disk is quite full then. What you want to do in the first place is stop as much programs as possible, then move the files, then uninstall realplayer. You could start the move action before going to sleep and click on the Move button the next morning. It’s funny how conversa...

Re: My last stupid realplayer question, then I’m done with i

I do not know if that would be the case, but I'd move them to another place to make sure they stay after uninstalling. Are you sure those are actual videos or just links to the online content? They are actual videos and have been downloading them for a couple of years so have quite a few. I wish I ...

My last stupid realplayer question, then I’m done with it

I have got my VLC player working pretty well and am just about to uninstall realplayer, will the uninstall delete the utube videos I have downloaded and saved in my realplayer folder? I have searched but there seems to be a lot of confusion about the realplayer uninstall function so any help here wo...

Does utube need realplayer

Probably seems like a very stupid question but for some reason I am under the impression that utube uses realplayer.
If I get rid of realplayer will I still be able to watch utube videos?
