when I watch NRJ 12 HD (Channel 57),my cpu usage raises up to ...50 % !(x2 4200+).The stream bandwidth is about 5 Mb but I can't get any information on the resolution.Where's the pb ?
I usually have this kind of cpu usage with 1920*800p and with 10Mb bitrates (Ok,with Coreavc)...

The decodind is done by Nero Video Decoder ,you are right .

Plays fine with VLC.Choppy with CoreAVC.

I have a tip for you:play it with WMP ! I know it sounds nuts but I had exactly the same problem and it eventually played like a charm on WMP11.

IF it's Windows XP (But should work with W2000),you can try a total uninstallation. -uninstall VLC,delete the folder remaining -uninstall and delete any codecs related to H.264...
