Re: Aiptek Go-HD files do not render audio corectly with VLC

I don't have the latest firmware (I just got mine last week), maybe the latest firmware messed up audio encoding. The videos from the posters on that other forum, their videos, for me at least, do not have abnormal audio problems. I think my video problems may be related to performance, I noticed th...

I tested out what you said, and I got the same problem even at 10s. Alternatively I tried something else that worked for me, a loop back stream with a delay. Go to 'Settings'->'Preferences...', then 'Stream Output'->'Access ouput'->'UDP', check the 'Advanced Options' checkbox. You will then see cach...

This works fine when I simply view it in VLC, but if I stream it with this setting, the recieving cl...

Thanks!!! That definetly sped it up by 600ms! The delay was about 1900ms, now its about 1300ms. I wonder what the rest of the delay could be. I'll look at the other settings, see if there is anything obvious.

Streaming Delay

I noticed that there is about a 2 second delay in streaming content. I was thinking about using VLC as an alternate to VNC, as a way of having a thin client and a central server. That is on a dual or quad processor system, with VLC running and capturing the screen and streaming it, and the other pro...

I didn't know about screen://, but in windows I have tried using VHScreen Capture Driver http://www.hmelyoff.com/ or UScreenCapture Driver http://www.umediaserver.net They emulate a directshow capture device, that grabs your screen and is usable by several recording applications including VLC. They ...
