It is since 2.0 (also 2.0.1 and 2.0.2) with the standard skin and theme.

VLC now has this nice and shiny playback button, but it is empty. Okay, you can guess which button does what, but it does not look nice now.
Will this be solved soon?

VLC now has this new modern looking time bar since 2.0. But why the color can't be customized? In my Windows settings I have set a different color, not blue, but the bar in VLC stays blue, so it is not fitting to the rest of my desktop's color scheme.
